Founder & Executive Director of Illuminating Voices
Hello! My name is Nandana Surendran, and I am a senior in high school! My vision for Illuminating Voices is to have an organization that will be able to actively educate its audiences on the lives and impacts women of color have made on the world and why it is important to learn about them. With Illuminating Voices, I also wish to inspire young girls to not let other’s opinions of them silence their voices and passions. I hope that Illuminating Voices is able to make a difference and encourage young women to follow their dreams! As for the future, I am hoping that our organization will be able to collaborate with other initiatives and cater our content to various audiences!
